Woodcliff Lake, NJ – November 22, 2019…BMW Motorrad USA is pleased to announce pricing and equipment updates for the following model-year 2020 motorcycles. Please note that this communication is intended to highlight the changes vs. respective model-year 2019 models, as opposed to listing all of the features and options that are offered.

The NEW R 1250 R / RS
BMW’s outstanding boxer engine received a significant technical update beginning with the model year 2019 R 1250 GS, GS Adventure, and RT, resulting in a considerable improvement in performance and operating characteristics. For model year 2020, the R 1250 R and RS receive the same notable engine enhancements in addition to the new standard features, options, packages, colors, styles, and ‘Option 719’ selections noted in the model details below.

Please Note: milled mirrors are available with the R 1250 R, but are not offered with R 1250 RS billet packs.
THE NEW MY 2020 R 1250 R

For MY 2020, there is a base price increase of $650 from $14,345 to $14,995 vs. the R 1200 R to account for the addition of standard TFT Display, Connectivity, On-Board Computer Pro, Headlight Pro, Hill Start Control and extensive engine improvements.
Colors
Available colors include Black Storm Metallic (MSRP $0), Pollux Metallic Matte (only available with Exclusive Style Package: MSRP $500), Light White/Racing Blue Metallic/Racing Red Paint (only available with Style HP Package (MSRP $600), and Paint ‘Option 719’ Sparkling Bronze Metallic (MSRP $950).

THE NEW MY 2020 R 1250 RS

For MY 2020, there is a base price increase of $450 from $15,245 to $15,695 vs. the R 1200 RS to account for the addition of standard TFT Display, Connectivity, On-Board Computer Pro, LED Headlights with style element, Hill Start Control and extensive engine improvements.

Colors available are Black Storm Metallic (MSRP $0), Austin Yellow Metallic Matte (only available with 451 Style Sport Package: MSRP $500), Imperial Blue Metallic (only available with 452 Exclusive Style Package: MSRP $400), and ‘Option 719’ Sparkling Bronze Metallic (MSRP $1,100).

For MY 2020, the Cross Spoke Wheel option code only applies to wheels with black rims. 77K is the new option code for Cross Spoke Wheels with gold rims (now available with all paint colors and style packages as a $500 single option, with the exception of the 456 HP Style Package). Within 456, 771 black Cross Spoke Wheels are now available as an alternate option (+$50) to the 77K gold Cross Spoke Wheels included within the 456 package. The High Comfort Seat, HP Battery, and Alarm have been removed as factory options.

Deletion of the prefix “HP Motorsport” from Light White/Racing Blue Metallic/Racing Red Paint.
Option and Package Changes
For MY 2020, the 771 Cross Spoke Wheel option code only applies to wheels with black rims (standard on this model). 77K is the new option code for Cross Spoke Wheels with gold rims (now available with all paint colors and style packages for $50, as a single option or within 456 as an alternate option (+$50) to the 77K gold Cross Spoke Wheels included within the 456 package.
The Aluminum Tank, HP Battery, and Alarm are no longer factory options.
The Chrome Exhaust has been removed from ZPP Premium Package, reducing the price of ZPP by $150 to $3,350.

Color Changes
The following new paint colors are available for MY 2020: ‘Option 719’ Sparkling Bronze Metallic (MSRP $1,800), Blue Planet Metallic/Ivory (MSRP $1,800), and Manhattan Metallic (replaces discontinued color Carbon Black Metallic within Style Package Elegance: MSRP $450). ‘Option 719’ Blue Planet Metallic and ‘Option 719’ Sparkling Storm Metallic have also been discontinued.

As of MY 2020, the Saddle Brown Seat can now be combined with all colors. The Dark Brown Seat has been added as a new option ($250). The High Seat is no longer offered as a factory option.
The NEW MY 2020 R nineT /5
MSRP: $12,495
The first ‘Option 719’ Special Edition commemorates the 50th anniversary of the R75/5. This limited-volume offer will appear as package 47B (MSRP $2,500) on the R nineT Pure.

A new ZEP Essential Package (MSRP $480) will be offered with Luggage Rack/Saddle Bag Mounts, DTC, Ride Modes Pro w/ Dynamic/Enduro Modes, and ABS Pro. Please note that ZEP on this model does not include TFT Display/Connectivity. HP Exhaust, Alarm and Comfort Seat are no longer offered as factory options.
F 850 GS

A $150 base MSRP increase on the F 850 GS and GS Adventure includes the addition of standard TFT/Connectivity (a $600 customer option value).

ZSL Select Package pricing has been reduced from $2,400 to $1,350. ZPP Premium Package pricing has been reduced from $3,450 to $2,150. A new ZEP Essential Package (MSRP $480) will be offered with Luggage Rack/Saddle Bag Mounts, DTC, Ride Modes Pro w/ Dynamic/Enduro Modes, and ABS Pro. Please note that it does not include TFT Display/Connectivity, which is now standard equipment on the F 850 GS and GS Adventure. For 2020, base MSRP includes the addition of standard Reverse Assist and Audio System w/ GPS Prep, Bluetooth, and Sirius. As a result, this equipment has been removed from ZSL and ZPP Packages, and pricing has been adjusted as referenced below. The Extra High Seat has been removed as a single option.
Color Changes
New for 2020 is limited volume Lupin Blue Metallic – only available for the bagger with ZLB ‘Special Edition: Lupin Blue Metallic’ (MSRP $650). ZSL is required for this color. Also new for MY 2020 is Hockenheim Silver Metallic (MSRP $200). This color is available for both the bagger and Grand America.
ZSL Select Package Changes (Bagger)
ZSL MSRP has been lowered from $3,900 to $1,850 to reflect the addition of Reverse Assist and Audio System w/ GPS Prep, Bluetooth, and Sirius as standard equipment. The remaining options in ZSL include:
